The VBTTF additionally assists in building international, national, statewide, regional and local partnerships highlighted below to support favorable travel and tourism related policies and programs to help further strengthen and unify Virginia Beach's hospitality industry.

 


U.S. Travel Association is the national non-profit organization representing all components of the travel industry. It's mission is to increase travel to and within the United States by leveraging the collective strength of all who benefit from travel to grow their business beyond what they could do individually. U.S. Travel Priorities Include: Connecting industry players to network, learn and build business, Promoting U.S. domestic and inbound international travel, Advocating in support of favorable travel/travel-related policies and Researching both on travel's economic impact and macro issues related to travel.

U.S. Travel has more than 1,300 member organizations within four primary categories: Travel Service Providers, Allied/Affiliate, Destinations and Travel Associations.

The Virginia Tourism Authority (VTA), doing business as the Virginia Tourism Corporation, serves the broader interests of the economy of Virginia by supporting, maintaining and expanding the Commonwealth's domestic and international travel market and motion picture production, thereby generating increased visitor expenditures, tax revenues and employment. The Corporation develops and implements programs beneficial to Virginia travel-related and motion picture production-related businesses and/or consumers that no industry component or organization would be expected to carry out on its own. It is the mission of the Authority to bring More People (visitors) to the Commonwealth; get them Staying Longer; and Spending More Money.

City of Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau - The Convention & Visitors Bureau is comprised of 5 distinct operational units all working and committed to quality customer service, supporting and promoting the City's economic vitality and quality of life. The professional staff specialize on unique areas of interest as they relate to the Convention and Tourism Industry. Working together the CVB presents and supports the City of Virginia Beach as one of the best travel and tourism products in the industry. The CVB also facilitates the creation and enhancement of convention, tourism, special events programs, parking systems and resort related improvements in order to create new jobs and maximize net city tax revenues.
